Terms of Service

The rules for using Radiens Web at radiens.ai. Includes the Data Processing Agreement (#dpa) for institutional users.

Interim terms — final version in review

These Terms describe how Radiens Web operates today and apply to your use of radiens.ai. A counsel-reviewed final version will replace them before general availability. Questions in the interim: neuronexus.com/contact.

Account & licensing

A Radiens account is personal to you. The Standard tier is free and permanent; Pro is subscription-based per the rate sheet at /pricing. If a paid subscription lapses, the software falls back to Standard — your data and account remain intact.

  • One account per person — do not share credentials
  • A Pro plan includes seats for your lab, assigned to named users; more than the included allowance is a Radiens Services conversation
  • Institutional licenses follow the master agreement signed by your organization
Acceptable use

Do not reverse-engineer the cloud client, circumvent tier gating, upload content you do not own the rights to, or use the service to harm others. Research data uploaded for analysis remains your property; you grant NeuroNexus a limited license to process it on your behalf.

Service availability & limits

We aim for 99.5% uptime on radiens.ai during business hours (US Eastern). Live-monitoring streams from edge sessions are best-effort; latency targets are stated in product docs but not guaranteed. Scheduled maintenance windows are announced via email and dashboard banner.

Liability & warranty

Radiens is provided as-is. NeuroNexus is not liable for indirect or consequential damages from data loss, recording errors, or analysis outcomes. Always verify scientific results against your own quality controls before publication.

Data Processing Agreement (DPA)

For institutional users (universities, hospitals, drug-discovery teams), this DPA section governs how NeuroNexus processes personal data on your behalf. We act as a processor; you act as the controller. The DPA covers sub-processors, security measures, breach notification, and transfer mechanisms (SCCs for EU data).

  • ✓Sub-processors: AWS (compute + storage), PostHog (analytics), Stripe (billing)
  • ✓Security: TLS in transit, KMS-managed encryption at rest, SOC-2 controls in progress
  • ✓Breach notification: within 72 hours of confirmed incident
  • ✓Data residency: US-East and US-West; EU residency available for institutional plans
  • ✓Sub-processor changes notified 30 days in advance
