Radiens 4 is here.

Radiens 4 is our biggest release yet. It extends the platform from acquisition into analysis and the data layer — with two newly productized components, the Radiens Compute engine and Radiens Web — and, for the first time, it keeps itself current through in-app auto-update. New in-app analysis (PSTH and Spectral tabs), a rebuilt visual Filter Builder, and a sharper signal-quality metric set bring more of the workflow into the app, while feature-based licensing unlocks Standard and Pro in place. For labs on an earlier version it is a substantial, stable step up — including a run of correctness and reliability fixes across recording, referencing, and spectral analysis. For new labs it is a platform shipping steadily, with several releases since launch this summer.

New PSTH and Spectral tabs bring event-locked histograms and time-frequency views into the app — configurable triggers and frequency ranges, live streaming and replay, and image export.

Visual Filter Builder

A rebuilt Signal Processing tab lets you assemble hardware and DSP filter chains directly on the signal path — reusable, and no code.

Sharper signal-quality metrics

A tighter set of distinct metrics with a lookback window, envelope-versus-exact indicators, and a new mean peak-to-peak amplitude measure — live with Vantage™ and after.

Automatic in-app updates

Radiens keeps itself current — a restart-to-update prompt and a manual check, with reliable installs on macOS and Windows.

Feature-based licensing

Standard and Pro entitlements unlock tabs and tools in place, and every account now starts on a free, perpetual Standard license.

A refreshed, faster workspace

A unified dark theme, resizable floating panels, saved named workspaces, a broadband LFP-and-spike simulator, and lower overhead at high channel counts.
